- 中文說明:中國婦女纏足最早源於10世紀，台灣閩籍的婦女多纏足，纏足所穿的鞋稱為三寸金蓮，本件只剩1隻，為尖頭高跟高筒的弓鞋，多為富家女子穿用，鞋面已經破損不見。
- 日文說明:10世紀頃に始まる婦女纏足の風習は、台湾閩籍の婦女が多く、纏足に履く靴を三寸金蓮と云う。この品は片方だけで、先が尖って踵も筒も高い弓靴で、富家の女子が履くもの、靴の面が破損している。
- 英文說明:The practice of foot binding began in China in the 10th century. Most of the women living in Taiwan that emigrated from Fujian Province had bound feet and wore shoes referred to as “three-inch golden lilies.” This bowed shoe, the only survivor of the pair, has a pointed toe, a high heel, and a high top. Worn mainly by women of wealthy families, the surface of this shoe is heavily worn.
